Public llms.txt verification

A live, inspectable receipt for one public file. It verifies the response now, not AI use, rankings, safety or a relationship with llmtxt.info.

Last updated:

Only public HTTP(S) URLs are accepted.

What this receipt checks

  • Whether a public URL responds successfully.
  • Whether the first non-empty line is a Markdown H1.
  • Basic sections, link-item counts and response content type.
  • The exact time and validator version of the check.

For full local diagnostics, use the validator. For the reporting method, see methodology.

When to use it

Use the receipt when you need a shareable proof of the public response seen by llmtxt.info at a specific time. It is useful after publishing a new file, changing a redirect, updating headers or checking that a public badge still reflects the current endpoint.

What it does not prove

The receipt does not prove that any AI system consumed the file, ranked the site differently or trusted the linked pages. It only records a narrow public fetch and the syntax checks returned by this validator version.

A useful workflow is to run the receipt after publishing, save the URL with your deployment notes, then re-run it after redirects, headers or sitemap generation change. Treat different results as debugging evidence, not as an authority or ranking score.
